A while ago we posted about some giant pines we had cut down on our property link. Well the other day we followed the wood to the Piney Mountain Sawmill. Audie McCall’s office sits in the middle of huge logs stacked up awaiting their turn at the saw to be turned into lumber and siding. Audie told us the newly cut wood is too green to use right away and pointed out stacks drying in the sun. We plan to follow our trees to their final destination.
